I'm a big fan of Lush and majority of the goodies I've tried from their wide range of products, so when I heard rave reviews of Dream Cream I thought I would give it a try. I will admit, I'm not the best at keeping up with lotions and potions for my body; I tend to concentrate my efforts on my face, but occasionally I will buy something to pamper the rest of me.
I have to say, as much as I do like the product, I'm not sure it is fully worth the hype it was given. It is a thick cream consistency and the smell reminds me of something medical in a way, like sudocream, but in a good way. You get a big pot and a little goes a long way meaning it will last you a good while so it is good value in that sense. It is aimed at people with skin conditions such as eczema because the oat milk in it "is very effective at calming and soothing the skin" according to the packaging and it has a few other natural anti-inflammatory ingredients as well and maybe since I don't suffer from anything other than the odd dry patches I haven't been able to witness its magic.
My main issue with Dream Cream is the greasy residue it leaves on your skin after use. You do have to wait for it to fully sink in which takes a while, although it does eventually get there. Bottom line: it does the job but there are better alternatives. I would suggest something along the lines of Nip + Fab Dry Skin Fix Body Butter (my personal favourite is the Mango Smoothie scent but the Coconut isn't bad either!) which does the same thing without the greasy hands afterwards.
If anyone wants a review of any other products just let me know and I'll try to get my hands on it if I don't have it already!

The Lock Bridge
I came across this small bridge on a recent trip to Paris completely by accident. I don't know if it was the magic of Paris in early spring, or the fact that I'm a closet romantic, but I was completely taken in by the Lock Bridge (as I've now dubbed it).
I didn't add a lock at the time but I'll go back when more has happened and I'll add my lock when I've achieved contentment with my life experiences as opposed to adding hopes for the future. Eeesh, a bit cheesy for a first time post but I wanted to add it as a reminder of what to aim for. (Don't worry, the rest won't be this bad haha)
